About Issue 74
Like the river that gives this journal its name, Red River Review has always carried a current of movement, change, and place. Founded in Texas and now flowing from its new home in Colorado, the journal continues to evolve while honoring the landscapes and voices that shape it.
Issue 74 reflects that evolution. From poems rooted in close observation and shifting seasons to work that considers memory, distance, and the internal turns that shape experience, this issue gathers writing attentive to both where we stand and where we’re headed. Our featured poet, John A. Nieves, invites the reader into the broader landscape of voices collected here, offering an intentional entry into the range of work that follows.
Thank you for reading and for traveling with us as Red River Review continues its course forward.
