About Issue 75

Issue 75 brings together a focused selection of poetry attentive to lived experience and the physical world. The work engages what is seen, felt, and carried, moving across distinct forms and approaches without settling into a single mode.

Our featured writer, Estill Pollock, presents a sequence of poems shaped by a distinctly cinematic movement. Images unfold in succession—shifting, accumulating, and returning, resulting in each element remaining distinct while contributing to a broader, interconnected field of perception.

Elsewhere in the issue, the work moves across a range of approaches, from image-driven poems that offer brief, concentrated glimpses of experience to more expansive pieces engaging memory, family, and identity. Some poems carry a sense of interiority or withheld meaning, while others confront difficult material directly—particularly in their treatment of relationships, and history. Across these pieces, attention to image and language remains central, whether the work turns toward the intimate, the representational, or the sharply observed.

Thank you for reading and for being part of the continued life of the journal.
