Triga

Deep underneath in the dark of the earth
Lies in a vein, unaware, and inert
Something special, something wanted,
Terrifying yet great-
Small motes are floating, blinking awake.

Sift, overland, through a fine meshed sieve
Grains, particles, sands, and some sins.
Failures and pleasures with bright orange stains,
Blossom and grow, flat on the plain.

Atoms in water, humble-benign,
Blue shadows dancing in human design.
What do we have here? A solution, the price?
A world without ending,
The day in the night.
